CCACA Executive Director Resigns

Dear Alliance Family,

I am writing to inform you that after serving for almost 10 years as the Executive Director of the Canadian Chinese Alliance Churches of Canada (CCACA), Rev. Aaron Tang has resigned as of December 31, 2023. Throughout Aaron’s term, he has exemplified the values of faith, integrity, and diligence, serving the CCACA with excellence. Aaron will be moving into a role as the Director of the CAWF (Chinese Alliance World Fellowship) and celebrating his time with us at the CCACA. I wish Aaron well as he embarks this new life journey.

With the strong recommendation of the CCACA Executive Committee, I have appointed Rev. Tommy Tsui to the position of Executive Director of the CCACA for a four-year term, starting January 1, 2024. Tommy has been serving with the Central Canadian District as the Director of Church Health and Development since 2022 and as Lead Pastor at Hamilton Grace Mandarin Alliance Church prior to that. He has demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities and a deep commitment to the values and mission of the Alliance. His vision, dedication, and passion make him an excellent fit for the position.

I am excited for all that God is doing through the CCACA and am confident that God will continue to use the CCACA to grow and serve their community under Rev. Tsui’s leadership. Please be in prayer for Rev. Tang and Rev. Tsui and their families during this time of transition.

謹致函通知，就任加拿大華人宣道會執行總幹事近10年後，鄧廣華牧師將於2023年12月31日離任。在鄧牧師任期內，他以身作則，以信心、正直和勤奮，在華聯會事奉上有卓越的表現。鄧牧師將轉任世界華人宣道會團契（CAWF）義務總幹事，為他在華聯會與我們一起事奉的美好日子歡喜快樂。我祝願鄧牧師在踏上新的人生旅途上一切順利。

在華聯會執行委員會強烈推薦下，我委任徐權能牧師為華聯會新任執行總幹事，由2024年1月1日開始，任期四年。自2022年，徐牧師擔任加拿大宣道會中區區會「教會健康與發展部」主任。之前，他是海明頓主恩國語宣道會主任牧師。他表現卓越的領導才能，深深委身於宣道會的核心價值和使命。他的異象、委身和熱情，使他成為這職位的最佳人選。

我為神透過華聯會所成就的一切感興奮，並深信神將繼續使用華聯會，在徐牧師的帶領下成長並服侍社區。在目前的過渡時期，請為鄧牧師和徐牧師及家人祈禱。
