ETEQ
L’École de Théologie Évangélique du Québec (ETEQ) is the only official Alliance Bible school and seminary in Eastern Canada. With our campus located in Montreal, our mission is to provide university-level theological education in service to Christian communities so that men and women may be equipped to serve Christ in Quebec and all over the world.
École de Théologie Évangélique du Québec (ETEQ) collaborates with the Faculty of theology and religious studies at Laval University, Canada’s first university. Working in close collaboration for over a decade, we have enabled every student enrolled with us to obtain accredited status, avail grants and loans, and receive an official diploma from Laval University. At ETEQ, all our professors are recognized for their academic expertise and are approved by Laval University. Our faculty is made up of evangelical Protestants, with the majority of them being official Alliance workers and pastors.
ETEQ provides a range of academic programs:
- Undergraduate studies that offer a variety of one-year certificates in theological studies, as well as a three-year Bachelor in Theology (BTh) program.
- Graduate master level studies that include a one-year diploma (DESS) and a full M.A. in theology, which can be completed with either a thesis or an academic essay. Starting in the 2024-2025 academic year, we plan to offer a M.A. in practical theology.
- PhD in theology.
Hybrid Classes are implemented for all our courses. Our classes are open to full-time, part-time, and auditors alike. While most of our courses are taught in French, we also provide courses in English each semester.

Other Preferred Post-Secondary Institutions
Emmanuel Bible College
Education at an accredited Bible College is a special blend of the kinds of education that you find in other settings. The underlying focus is discipleship – how we grow in Christ and live out our life and faith in the world. The level of education is that of the university. Students are stretched by faculty teaching at a high level. Finally, the intent of the education is vocational. While some students come for only a year, or take a degree in a field that enhances the breadth of their knowledge and understanding (as might be done in a university setting with many degrees), Emmanuel also provides vocational training that leads to careers in both ministry and secular settings.
A high percentage of degree program graduates have been appointed to pastorates, to cross-cultural service and missions positions, and to a variety of leadership and service positions within churches, other ministry organizations, and the broader community. Others have continued their studies in seminaries or with advanced standing in university programs. Still other graduates choose to use their degrees as do many university students who take programs in the arts and humanities. An Emmanuel degree provides a sound foundation for entry into various careers. Diploma and certificate program graduates provide strong lay leadership in a variety of Christian ministry settings, having entered the secular workplace directly or after additional post-Emmanuel education. The College cites with pride over 2,200 alumni who are a strong influence for God and good throughout the world.

Rocky Mountain College Pathways
Rocky Mountain College has now undergone a transformation while remaining true to its heritage.
Over the years, other Christian colleges have come and gone in the Calgary region. Rocky Mountain College has adapted to the realities of a booming city and the presence of other institutions serving the Christian market in Calgary. It has also recognized the potential for taking Christian education and Biblical training "outside the box" to extend the reach and impact of the College.
In 2010, the Board of Rocky Mountain College saw and pursued the opportunity to take Rocky Mountain College to a new place with a new model. That new place and model is "Pathways: Powered by Rocky Mountain College" which was officially launched at the beginning of 2015. Based on a "distributed learning model", Pathways enables the College to provide academic courses and training online to students anywhere in the world.
Kerry Belt, President of RMC says, "We started with a question, 'what if we could take education to people where they are at, instead of expecting them to come to us?' RMC has always had discipleship and leadership as its genetics. Pathways is another step in pursuing that passion. We believe leaders are best developed as they practice leadership. Pathways takes that idea to a new level." Pathways' motto is, "Anyone. Anywhere. Anytime."

Additional Schools and Educational Opportunities
Kairos
Kairos is a kingdom tool for mobilizing the global church to bless the nations (Genesis 12:1-3). The C&MA partners with Kairos Canada to see the whole church mobilized for cross-cultural mission to the world’s least-reached peoples.
Originally started in the Philippines in 1994 (as the Condensed World Mission Course) is based on the material in the Perspectives on the World Christian Movement course. Kairos has been revised, updated and translated into multiple languages, with classes running in over 45 nations.
The Kairos Course is an interactive, ten-session course on world Christian mission, designed to educate, inspire and challenge Christians into a truly Biblical worldview. It utilizes a variety of learning styles including group discussions, session introduction, devotions, video teaching and student participation in specially designed activities. Kairos looks at four main areas of mission concern—the Biblical, Historical, Strategic and Cultural dimensions of mission.

Perspectives
Perspectives in Canada has been active since 1992, reporting to the Perspectives headquarters in the USA. In January of this year, a group of Canadian Perspectives leaders and advocates agreed together to take leadership of the Perspectives Movement in Canada. We work together under a guiding Covenant to see Perspectives develop as a national movement for mobilizing the church in Canada.
Our Common Purpose is to mobilize the Canadian church for mission. Specifically, we seek to mobilize the Church through the Perspectives on the World Christian Movement study program. The result we seek is a Canadian Church that is increasingly engaged in God’s mission, locally, regionally, nationally and globally. We desire to see the Perspectives course grow and become available in all regions and key metro areas of Canada.
