Bio

Before the age of 34, I was a staunch atheist and a self-willed person. In 2010, when I came to Ottawa from Shanghai, China to work as a nanny, my life suddenly fell into a state of isolation and I encountered unprecedented difficulties. I was surrounded by sin, bitterness and despair. When I came to church with a selfish purpose, God’s light illuminated me in the darkness, and the love of Jesus on the cross awakened the frozen me. My life was once again filled with hope, and I became a Christian in 2011. After I was saved, God put a deep concern in my heart to see many people like me who were uprooted from their homes as I didn’t know what they would be exposed to when they came to foreign countries. God made me eager to go and preach the gospel to them, so that apart from earning money when they go abroad, they can also hear the good news of the gospel. In 2021, God called me to go to Mexico City, to serve the Mandarin speaking Chinese professionals. In 2023, I was commissioned at JMC in Vancouver.
