The Panama Church Development project desires to reach the Chinese Diaspora in Panama. The development of first-generation Christian leaders, especially local full-time workers, has encountered huge barriers over the years. While serving as the bridge, the team now sees an opportunity to transition the spiritual leadership from the first-generation to the second-generation Chinese believers. The second-generation believers have great potential because of their advantage in knowing Spanish as well as Chinese. They also have better education opportunities, understanding both cultures, and have energy for long-term service.

The Panama Church Development project have three key initiatives that focus upon outreaching to second-generation youth, training of second-generation Christian leaders, and mentoring of second-generation workers who are committed to long-term service among indigenous Panamanians.
