International Workers
Silk Region

Current Priorities

As we settle in country, we will focus on language study, establishing community, and beginning our work in our part-time jobs. We anticipate future ministry opportunities to extend from these initial engagements as we pursue partnerships and connections with different people and organizations.

Least-Reached People Group

We work with Middle Eastern people groups.

Vision

The team there has already begun to form partnerships and a ministry foundation and we are hoping to build upon that, try new strategies, grow new partnerships and expand our reach in the Silk Road, while bringing along young leaders from Canada to experience cross-cultural ministry and to expand their global vision of missions.

Bio

Gavin and Nadia grew up in Christian homes and they both accepted Jesus as Lord and Saviour as young children. In their teenage years, each committed their lives to Christ—Gavin through gradual steps of faith and Nadia through following a felt encounter with the Spirit of God. Since then, God has led Gavin to minister to athletes on university campuses and in professional sports for over 10 years. With Nadia, He has developed a heart for discipleship and lifestyle of hospitality. Together, they have a passion for creating spaces and opportunities for people to encounter God in tangible ways, to integrate their faith with individual passions and talents, and to discover God’s call for their lives. God has led them to serve as the Envision Site Coordinators for the Silk Road region to cultivate ministry opportunities among the least-reached people groups of the Middle East.
