Current Priorities

We currently focused on studying Mandarin and learn Taiwanese culture for at least eighteen months. We are thankful that God is helping us make progress. Because of very short time before departure, we only visited five Vietnamese churches to create seamless link partnerships. In Taiwan, there are many Vietnamese labourers and Vietnamese wife of Taiwanese men but there is not a Gospel Center for them. We pray that God will make a way for us to work with the Taiwanese churches to open at least one Vietnamese Taiwanese Gospel Center in future in Taichung City.

Least-Reached People Group

We work with the Vietnamese Diaspora in Taiwan.

Vision

LORD, for Your glory, grow reproducing communities of disciples, transformed by Christ, transforming working class Taiwan and the world. 『主阿,為了袮得榮耀,求袮成立被基督更新並不斷的增長的門徒群體,以及更新台灣的基層階級以及世界.』

Bio

Chinh received Jesus Christ and was baptized on September 1989 in a refugee camp in Palawan, Philippines. Lieu was baptized when she was 14 years old. Chinh and Lieu got married on October 4, 1992 during the time they had been refugees in Philippines. After immigrating to Canada in 1993, Chinh served as an elder in the Ottawa VN Church. When Lieu gave up her life for Jesus completely, Chinh moved to Kitchener in 2006 to study at Emmanuel Bible College. Chinh became the ministry coordinator of the VN Church in London and pastored the church while he continued his studies. Chinh graduated from Emmanuel Bible College in April 2014.

Many thanks to God for my wife, Lieu has continually given caring for family, supporting my ministry, visitation and participating in a weekly prayer meeting and service. God enlarged our vision for the Vietnamese Diaspora in Taiwan and I felt called to replace Rev. Thu Nguyen who was retiring. My God image seems to be characterized by ‘Saviour’, ‘Creator’, ‘Caregiver’ and “Friend’. Personal spiritual exercises for the development of my faith: devotion, worship, prayer, reading and meditating on the Scripture, and resting with God on the Sabbath day. In terms of corporate spiritual exercise, I am committed to team work, leadership and group dynamics. My spiritual gifts include discerning of Spirits, teaching, preaching and caring for others.
