Current Priorities

Jocelyn and Joze are on home assignment in the Canadian Pacific District until March 2027. During this time, they hope to connect with churches, small groups, and individuals to share how God is at work among the world’s second-largest least-reached people group, and to encourage others in faithfully representing King Jesus locally and globally.

Vision

With the desire for more Japanese to have access to Jesus and in partnership with other like-minded people, they long to see a growing network of fellowships of disciplemakers in the Tokyo Area. They seek to do this through house church networks and marketplace fellowship strategies.

Bio

Joze and Jocelyn grew up in Christian homes where they accepted Jesus as King and Saviour at a young age. Jocelyn sensed God’s calling to cross-cultural overseas ministry as a teenager, and Joze received his call after graduating from university. After some education, training, and internships, they began serving as a couple with The Alliance Canada in 2011. They served in Guinea and Niger in West Africa, and through an internship they were developing, they were able to visit Senegal and the Middle East. Together, they desire to love people, to contextualize and communicate the Good News that Jesus is King to those who have yet to hear, and to invite them to become part of the family of God. They joined the Japan Team in 2022 and are currently serving as team leaders.
