Money designated to this fund will enable us to offer food assistance and sustainable agricultural programming through our C&MA—Canadian Foodgrains Bank (CFGB) account, where it is eligible to receive up to 4:1 matching support from the Global Affairs Canada grant to CFGB.

The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization estimates that about 821 million people of the 7.7 billion people in the world, or 10.8%, are suffering from chronic undernourishment—the majority of which are in developing countries.¹
