In a land where earthly peace and stability are often elusive, this project seeks to foster true Peace through high quality, intentional programming facilitated by dedicated Christ-followers. Sounds of Peace is instrumental in developing and maintaining a wholistic, sustainable livelihood training Centre in a very specific and local context. This Centre, which can only be described as a gift from God, enables us to equip those languishing in seemingly hopeless situations, with skills to adapt and overcome their physical, emotional and economic situations in an environment which demonstrates Kingdom Hope, Faith, Joy and Love. Individuals begin with a trauma-informed program where they start to process their experiences and build trust with local facilitators, before progressing into a longer, more specific skills training venture.
