Current Priorities

Paul and Chantelle have an established small team working with refugees and trafficked individuals and the poor in SE Asia. Their priorities centre around education projects and mentoring support of refugee teachers, vocational training, and investing in the lives of trafficked brides, which includes bible storying, prayer, counselling, trauma support, prenatal care, micro enterprise, and ESL.

Vision

We Exist in SE Asia to bring eternal hope to the hurting, poor and refugees, with the goal of helping them become physically, emotionally, and spiritually thriving communities. We do this through prioritizing long-term relationships, local partnerships, significant and appropriate holistic development programs, and discipleship, all supported by a foundation of prayer.

Bio

Paul grew up in a strong Christian home that was very supportive of missions. When he was 13 years old, he committed to serving cross-culturally. He has strong gifts in problem solving, logistics, helps and trades, and he is always looking for ways to use his skills and passion for the poor and marginalized cross-culturally.

Chantelle always had a passion to work with the poor, and as she came into relationship with Christ in her teen years, she realized that physical development help for the poor alone was unbalanced and developed a passion to see communities thrive in holisitic development that included physical, emotional and spiritual growth and everlasting hope. Chantelle has a Master’s in International Development helps lead our organization with Relief and Development pathways advising.

In 2008, they went to Niger, Africa with the Alliance and stayed until 2017 as part of the Desert Sand team, running development and education programs while heavily invested in mentoring and advocacy. Now they have moved to the Asian Spice region to work with refugees and trafficked individuals and lead our team there.
