Ls accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour when she was 16 years old. Due to circumstances around the separation and divorce of her parents, she went to live with a couple who were working with the youth of her church at that time. This couple treated Ls like she was one of their own and showed her the love of Jesus in a way that she had not experienced before. From the time she can remember, she had always gone to church with her mother and she had a God-fearing grandma, but she hadn’t seen Jesus being lived out in ‘real life’ until she lived with this family.

Ls’s experience with this family softened her heart and she gave her life fully to Jesus and made a vow to God that she wanted to be the kind of person to others that this family had been to her. For the last 10 years, Ls had the privilege of caring for displaced children, much like she was, in the country of Mozambique. In the last 1.5 years, she joined the Alliance and joined the team in Asian Spice. She has completed 1 year of language aquisition and is now living in Southeast Asia. She prays that this least-reached people group would see and be drawn to The Light of the World!
