Africa
International Workers

Current Priorities

As I teach third culture kids, their parents are able to work with least-reached people groups across West Africa knowing that their children are well cared for and receiving a good education. This service role is essential to families being able to continue in their ministries as their children progress through the school years.

Least-Reached People Group

We work with a unique group of LRPG’s called the Wolof & Fulani – Fouta Tooro.  You can learn more about the Wolof & Fulani – Fouta Tooro by visiting our LRPG page.

Vision

The education of the children of international workers is essential for them to be able to do their work. It is my hope that the ministry of Dakar Academy will provide this service as well as provide a place where third culture kids are encouraged to grow in their relationship with God.

Bio

I am grateful to have been born into a Christian, missions-minded family. I accepted Christ as a child based on the teaching of my parents and my Sunday school class. A few years later, my parents moved overseas to follow God’s call for them to reach people with the Gospel. In high school, I felt God calling me to also serve in missions although the specifics were not clear at the time. As I pursued a degree in education, I realized that my calling would be to the children of international workers. Since that time, I have found my niche in teaching middle school so that workers in West Africa are able to continue their ministries knowing that their children are receiving a good education.
